Dangerous Schizophrenic Hired By Secondary School To Teach Students
If you run a school or are appointed mentor of an educational institution, then it’s seriously important to run through background checks on teachers you hire. Lately it’s revealed that a mentally ill northern Irelander made it to a German teaching job in a France and taught for a month before his past caught up with him. Authorities claim that Lewis Alexander Mawhinney escaped from a mental healing facility where he was supposed to remain for an “indefinite” period and was labeled under “dangerous schizophrenic” category. He was sent to this facility after he attacked a fellow colleague three years earlier in a call center training session.
After escaping from Ireland, Mr. Mawhinney made it France and was hired by 2 secondary schools to teach German to pupils. He worked at these educational institutes for nearly a month until someone noticed incoherent ramblings from him. The main carelessness was shown by hiring panel that didn’t run any background checks or police records for Mr. Mawhinney.
Mr. Mawhinney is now at a hospital in southeast France and is currently under the dilusion of belonging to MI5 which makes him wear gloves to carry out “secret” mission. While we honestly pray that Mr. mawhinney gets well soon, we would also request school authorities globally to run thorough background checks before hiring employees who are supposed to have intimate contact with students.
