Ok now this might not be very pleasing for all those without social networking accounts on Twitter, Facebook, Orkut etc., but it’s true that social networking leads you to sex faster than any other intimacy method. We aren’t making this up as Reuters Life conducted a survey and every 4 out 5 male / female social networks users believed that sex happens faster.

Previously we saw that same kind of stuff was being said when cellular phones became a necessity rather than a luxury. Although these numbers might impress loads of folks into using social networking tools; but actually 38 % of the women surveyed have claimed sleeping with anyone from their social network.

The main tools that perform as a catalyst in this sleep quick equation are your laptops, smartphones, tablet PCs and other handhelds able to handle social networking applications. According to the survey, social networks only act as “introduction” tool; rest is taken care off through text messaging, phone calls and sometimes VoIP. This is pretty justifiable from the poll result that 65 % of surveyed folks claim to be asked out via text, whereas only 49 % used facebook for the same purpose.

And this doesn’t end here! It’s not only about “making up” or “hanging out” for special purposes. These social network tools also happen to be your “break up” instruments after the intimacy is over! 43 % women, who took part in the survey, claimed to get “digitally dumped” while the figure was 21 %.

The moral of this story is pretty simple. You should flirt with social networking tools within a limit, and if you do plan on crossing that limit, then embrace yourself to face consequences like “Digital Dumping” etc.
